We are a United Community Middle School, Grades 6th - 8th, where our students become outstanding citizens, learners and writers who celebrate and respect everyone's culture and values. We listen attentively to every voice. We work together and work hard in a safe haven. We ask challenging questions, think critically and embrace innovation. As you prepare to move to a distance learning environment, we realize that not all of you have Internet services where you live. I am writing you to let you know about a few companies which are offering to K-12 and college students that do not currently have Internet where they live, free internet service. If that is your situation, Please reach out to one of these Internet Service Providers who are Offering a Free Period to Students, some will waive all installation fees and you may cancel at any time without penalty - including at the 60th day.

1. Charter will offer its Spectrum Internet services free for 60 days.

2. Comcast will be offering Families 60 days of free internet service Along with with a Free self-install kit and WIFI Router.

The Mayor has announced that all schools will be closed until at least April 20th. Meals will be available for pick up only this week and we will be launching remote learning next week.
